My name is Larry Peña, and I am not a rich man. I regularly play as Stagwood, a human woodland ranger, in a foam-fighting organization called Amtgard, in a local chapter called the Barony of the Seven Sleeping Dragons in San Luis Obispo, Calif. I may not be the best fighter at the park, but I always try to be the best dressed. I’m constantly on the lookout for inexpensive ways to improve and expand my garb and bring my fantasy to life.

The Budget LARPer is my effort to share my tips on how to put together the best fantasy and medieval garb you can without going broke, and share cool stuff I find and make along the way.
